I Like to Document My Annual Winter Wonderland

Getting there... I like my Beanie Anya. I put her on my cover of 

Smash: Holiday book... My hometown decided to hold annual event at Webster lake called Winter Wonderland. They gave hot cocoa, popcorn, cookie, small craft, bonfire and horse wagon ride. They also have Santa for the kids to meet and have their picture taken for free. I enjoyed that. 

This year is 6th annual. I had a busy day on Friday and was not able to visit Winter Wonderland and then decided to go on the next day. It was snowing in late afternoon and I checked to make sure they are still open. I live near that- about 3 mins drive. I don't care. I must have my annual photo with Santa.

I put in all photos with Santa and other things like bonfire, horse, etc. It was nice way to record my "adventures" at Winter Wonderland. I use Christmas lights stickers from EK Sticko. Flourishes and Christmas Trees are from Jolee's. Only couple of thing left to add but I am trying to figure it out first before add to the front. I need to make hole for the part I have to install... so hope soon.

I Love Stamps! Rubber Stamps, Clear Stamps.... even Homemade Stamps...

I love stamps but over a year, I noticed one thing I hate. Yes. Kits. Kits that has stamps in it. I wanted those stamps but does not want the kit (papers, stickers, etc, etc) I have hard time finding the stamp I wanted out of kits. The companies who sell those kits won't sell stamp alone. I am very disappointed because I am not only person who wanted stamp. I found out more people wanted stamps more than kits from Calico Studio, Citrus Twist, Cocoa Daisy and few other subscriptions.


Come on! Why can't you start to sell the stamps and you will earn more money?!? Even you thought of it??? Please try to sell the stamps alone. Many of us did not want kits at all. It is not fair to us try to hunt it down from other people who bought the kits. Please think about it.

I am sure many of you agree with me about this. Sound off your thoughts here!

Adipose Plush Pattern

This is my adipose plush.

Someone just asked me where I got adipose pattern from so that she can make a present... It was long time ago... and apparently the website is gone. I was lucky enough to save them. Here's the pattern I used from online but I changed few thing which is not showing (top part and bottom of body corners I turned them into curve shape instead of "L" shape).

Hey Girl Mini Album

I made a mini album and was thinking of what to cover the front with... I looked at stamps and saw this girl with pinwheel. Why not? I added her... and then added little paper punch which is red butterfly. I added little gem and glued it to her hair. I add few other things. I like it. It's cute.

If you're curious, this girl is Twirl Anya from The Greeting Farm. Now I am trying to think what to add inside... Mmmm.... Inside the pages have openings like pocket in top and one at side. I can add piece of paper in it or maybe small photo... Wait and see...

Mini Album with Superstar Anya

I made a mini album with Amy Tangerine papers. Then I made some project life cards with those papers too to use for this album. I added some washi to the cards and the front cover of album. I tucked cards in the pocket so that I can add it later to the page. I made cute bead line with my old beads instead of waste them. Why not. You may have noticed couple of old photos of me with my father and my young brother on my birthday. I forgot when that was. Maybe at age 12 or 13. I recalled my dress I wore because my good friend passed away a year later or two.

I am not yet fill it up with photos and stuffs but I will when I have time.

A Tea with Ian... and Cyber-Monday Celebration Hop

I saw this Cafe Ian stamp and it reminded me of British stuffs. I thought it's cute. Of course, I do not drink tea nor coffee. I do drink hot chocolate. I decided to stamp him, color him and then added him to my black MOD smash book. Why not.

I would love to visit England again someday.

Harry Potter Midnight Magic Night

I went to Barnes n Noble for Harry Potter Magic Night to get the final book of Harry Potter series in 2007. I had to wait until midnight for it. It is not easy to know what's going on around the bookstore since I am deaf. I do not have anyone with me there. It is strange to see some people tried to dress as one of Harry Potter characters- Snape, Hagrid, Lupin, Dumberdore and few others. I wore my Quidditch uniform I made for Halloween. When I saw my smash book in drawer, I thought how about fill up couple pages about it? I did. I only went for 6th book and then 7th book. I never knew about past event for Harry Potter Magic Night.

Thanksgiving Project Life Cards

Seeing Thanksgiving theme around here. Oh, boy... another holiday. I just thought about Project Life and It somehow made me want to help a bit by making the cards for you to print. 25 cards in total for who likes Project Life. It helps me to think creative. It can be use in scrapbook or Smash or any also. Enjoy!

Making New Mini Album with New Girl

I wanted to make a mini album with paint chips. I finally did it and added a girl (The Greeting Farm stamp) but only I did was to swap head with other TGF stamp. I use Megan's head and Reeta's body. LOL. I should name her Isabella! What a fun. I am happy that I am done with it. Can't wait to fill it up! Oh, by the way, all flowers, petals, butterflies are punched and pinwheel was cut by hand. I added some gems to them. I added ribbons to holes.

Halloween Project Life Cards

Yes, I love Halloween. I have not yet documented page of Halloween. I only did one but I am hoping to add more in the future in scrapbook. I just thought about Project Life page. It somehow put me in mood to make those little cards for you to print. 10 in total in two different color groups for who likes Project Life. It can be use in scrapbook or any also. Enjoy!

My First Project Life Layout

When I first heard of Project Life... before I bought BH kits... This is my first layout for Project Life and never show it to anyone for months. I decided to documented about my nephew and niece plus me. I cut out paper for the pocket page. However the one I bought was Colorbok. The pocket page wasn't in right measurement. Not enough allowance to cover/fit, all my 4x6 is already bit tight and top part which is 4x12... it is slippy that piece of paper won't stay in. That top section pocket wasn't 4x12 which disappointed me that I can see top part of my 4x12 peeking out of the pocket. I am sure Colorbok attempted to do the same with project life way but failed in make it happened. I am glad I only bought one package of it. I recently got We R Memory pocket pages which works great.

Yes, I Colored Them with Color Pencils !

I love those stamps... I stamped more and then colored them. I enjoyed that. I haven't use watercolor or copic or marker... I used color pencils from Crayola, RoseArt and Cra-Z-Art. I want more, lol. I am not going to stop doing this. I will try different color combo to see which is best and which is so-so. After colored them, I put them in baseball card pocket page. Sorry if I repeated this, but I couldn't help it. I still have few more left to color... They look pretty, are they?

My Handmade Rosary

I made this rosary. This is my 7th rosary. It is for sale. All beads are glass.

If you are looking for specific color or shape and want me to make it for you. Contact me. Most colors are easily found except red ones which is hard. Purple is also hard to find because most of them are not as bright as it should be. It is almost like dark like earth tone. I wanted purple but so hard to find what I want! Yes. It is frustrated. I can post other photos of rosary I had in past. So stay tuned!

Adding Washi to the Cards

I still want to make more stuffs with papers and washi. I enjoyed it more than filling them out. LOL.

I added washi to some of my homemade the PL cards for my mini album.

I also added couple of washi to my homemade library card.

My Own DIY Project Life Cards

After making geo tags of my own, I want to make my own project life cards.

I cut six 3x4 and three 4x6 out of one 12x12 sheet. (You can also cut twelve 3x4 or six 4x6 out of 12x12 sheet.) Then I used some stamps and added some stuffs like a banner, arrow and geo tags. I enjoyed that. I want to make some more in the future. Hope you like my cards. Smile.

DIY Map Pointer

I somehow saw one paper punch that looks like geo tag/map pointer to me so I thought why not to make my own. Lucky, I have Fiskars Petal by Petal Squeeze Punch (Large) and circle punches. I tried and it works!

 I don't know why but I like how they looked.

However I heard there is change at TGF. Prices and other thing. Honestly, I can understand about price but will they change the look? I don't know.

Being Deaf is Tough- Battle to the Hell

Being deaf is tough. I struggled with it everyday and I am so tired of it. No matter how hard I tried, none of my hard work being recognized out there in the world.

I still fought.

Over 20 years has passed, I can see my list of hope, goal, etc. Not one of them have came true. What does it mean? Yes, I felt betrayed by God. My list is worthless.

Many people have different opinion on God... There is God... There is no God... There is heaven... There is no heaven... on and on and on....

One said God is con man.... how interesting.... other said God is trickster... Mmmmm... So many varieties by different cultures and beliefs...

Who is God to me? I don't know. Why did he make me a deaf person? I don't know. I will never know if that is his plan or a mean trick.

I kept telling myself. Why am I here for if there is no plan for me to live for? I do not accept being alive here for none. It isn't very nice to have my promise being broken. I even noticed why some people who are "bad" got the chances, not me? It isn't right either nor fair.

Basically, this is hell battle to fight against. None of my prayers over the years work at all. That leaves me the possible question... Is there no God? If there is God then he should have answered.

I feel shamed to have that kind of God if he ever does existed.

More Pages of Felix Baumgartner

His 3rd and final space jump. It was for July "S" challenge. "S" would be Space Jump. I made pocket for couple of photos in it. I added stamped TGF's Astronaut Ian to it. I actually have photo signed by Felix but it was big so I made a copy in small size for smash. I added little info on page with number (feet in the air) it cant be seen unless remove two photos out of pocket to see it. I love that photo of Felix on screen while he was talking to Joe with concerns (you can see the back of his head) because it tells thousand words to me.

Small Tribute to Blue Thunder

This is the one I just worked on...  Few days ago, I somehow remember the old movie. I was sad. I even miss the actor who passed away few years ago. Then it hit me, I can smash about it! I looked around for the photos I need for my page. When I lay them all on page and felt that I am missing something. On the next day, I solved the missing part feeling. I drew helicopter as blueprint (FACT: Yes, I drew Blue Thunder many times when I was young) and add some words to it. I like it. That made it better. Yes. I love helicopter and this is one of my faves. I used the waterfall flip for 4 mini photos of helicopter (I used that waterfall flip on my scrapbook layout before). It was hard to find good sized photo of Roy with Blue Thunder. I found some photos of the helicopter and printed them. It made me smile instead of sad.

Mermaid Anya

I saw this cute used stamp up for sale. I bought it. I love mermaid and this unmounted rubber stamp I have in my hand is Mermaid Anya from The Greeting Farm. Yes, this is my first GF stamp. I finally got a chance to stamp her and color her. I saved her until other idea came. I put it on piece of paper to fancy her up. I added pinwheel and yarns and also some half domed pearls.

Pinwheel is actual from Fiskar's paper punch called Jenni Bowlin: Pinwheel and Talk Bubble is also from Fiskar's paper punch.

Doctor in Distress Record

Still having issue with the record I have that was in the lot I won on ebay last year. I am deaf and don't know what to do with it. Honestly, I didn't know it was a record until I got it in mail! Frame it? Maybe. Put the record on wall? Nah. The record didn't have design on it, just words. Anyway, I just thought, is there lyric online for it? Yep, I found it.

Mini Album: 3 Ways

I found a cute mini album on pinterest. However, her only "template" didn't help much. So I decided to  make my own template and hope that it helps for someone. I made 3 different ideas as seen in my photos.

Bottom row shows 3 different looks of pockets inside the mini album in which I provided the templates.

I add some pages to attach it with twine. You can do that or sew or use rings. Any way you want/like. This is only an idea I have for myself. I stamped and added pieces of paper in pockets.

Printable: Walt and Mickey Partners

I love Mickey Mouse. I went to Walt Disney World for the first time in 1979. However I was very ill during my trip that sent me to hospital. It was terrible. One of photos my mom took was the place where statue supposed to be. Looks like it wasn't set until later on. On June 19, 1995 the "Partners" statue was installed in the hub of the Magic Kingdom in honor for Walt and his famous character.

I made it because Disney is my favorite. This can be add to scrapbook, smash, etc. I made black silhouette and firework silhouette. 4 and 6 inches

My Homemade Fun Tier Stand

I took it apart so that can understand the steps of how I did it. I just bought 4 colorful trays from Dollar Tree, dowel from Walmart and piece of wooden board from my stepfather cuz it was left over at his shop. I cut holes in trays (careful or will crack it.) I use paper rolls but it is bit thick than regular paper roll (other way can use pvc tube). I just cut dowel to the size I like. Same thing cut the rolls to put between trays. Top it with washer and screw. Hope you like my idea :)

I finally finished my mini album "Younique"

 Beginning of my mini album. I blur the photos and didn't want to write on them until they got their photo shots so I can write after. Cuz of what I will write is personal. I just wanted to show what I did with my stamps and punches for this project. It took me few months to make it because I don't have that stamp or this until I found them to add. I am very picky person for this.

Making a Label Maker look

I have seen some of DIY Label Maker... some fonts are for sale and some font are free... other sells style layer and action for photoshop. There are different ways to make it.

So, I decided to make my own to test it out for myself. I did it and I like it. I had fun with creating my own labels. What do you think? All I had to add emboss/bevel effect in photoshop and make several adjustments by click on FX on the bottom of layer window.
