Sweet Little Mermaid
After weeks of looking for the name for that stamp I bought.
It didn't come with paper (information) and package.
Guess what? I finally found it.
It is Water Babies by Carmen Medlin for SCACD.
Here's Carolyn's work
I'm glad to have her because she reminds me of someone I know.
I can't wait to begin!

DIY Library Cards
It bugs me when I am looking for library cards. There are few online but the cost is... bit high for me.
I tried other ways and none. No such luck.
I even tried to print free card from online but I don't have printer at home. I used printer at library but no color, just black and white.
I gave up.
Then I thought up of something, let's try my way. Take blank index card and also take notebook paper with small lines (small space). I took pen and ruler to match the line pattern and then add one line cross lines. Voila! My new library card!
You can do it! Can use any paper, and line them up with ruler with any pen!!! Can use fine tip Sharpie.
Hope that helps!!!

Sherlock Page
My fave BBC's Sherlock. I saw them all and saw them again and again... Marvelous! I think Benedict Cumberbatch is even cutest on this show than other.
I finally finished this page(s) of Sherlock and his friend Watson.
I made a library card to put in the pocket which was labeled "Classified." I also make his name with label maker and put it on the it. I like it.
I stamped the "Sherlock" girl and colored it with color pencils.
I thought it would be fun to create a mini mail of his home address.
What do you think??? Enjoy!

Another Mini Album
I love those cute mini albums so I made a new one, an inch larger than previous. I wanted to see how it turned out. Bit different though... It is really nice and I am going to surprise someone with it. I leave it blank so she can decorate it herself. I add an extra piece of paper- stamped list as seen in inside cover pocket. Shhh...
I put it next to my micro albums to see the size of it.

Micro Album: Decorated
I finally finished adding bits and bits to it. I had to see if I like it or not before glue them down. I had tough time with front cover. I like the word "Adventure" but it was missing something. I tested with other bits and it didn't work for me until now. I found wings in my stamp collection. I tried and like it! It was actual heart with crown and wings. "Adventure" covered the heart part.
Whew!
I hope you enjoy my micro album. What is your thought?

Shuttle Discovery Page
Very nice of someone sent my step father a photo of Shuttle Discovery. I made a small copy of it and add it to my orange book. So sad that this shuttle is now retired! Oh well.
Take a look at this page I made for Discovery.
Yeah, I made a planet!
Queen Jubilee Page
I decided to create a page about Queen of England.
Since I miss the country still. I hope I would go back and visit again someday.
Wow, really, being Queen for 60 years! Cool.
Yep, it's in orange book.
I used paper tapes from Target to create some lines on pages and also banner.
Yes. Paper tapes and homemade baker's twine to make a banner. What a fun!

DIY Baker's Twine
I saw colorful baker's twine online. I was wondering of its cost. Bit expensive for me. I tried to think of idea to make my own. One idea was to twist 2 color floss together.
Then I saw another idea in Pinterest about make your own baker's twine by using color markers.
So I tried this idea. Luckily, my step-father had a spool of twine. I decided the color I saw online was in airmail style. Here's my result. I like it. Cute.

Small Envelope Album Decorated
I finally got to make my homemade envelope album looks pretty! Of course, I was nervous! It took me several days to make it because I want to go easy and figure out what I really want.
Here are few pages with stamp arts, embellishments of paper punches and few things like washi tape, tags and note pad.
It will soon be filled with photos and stories (writings).

Small Envelope Album
I tried to create the small album by using the idea from SCRAP-IMPULSE with envelope. Just a warning, it's in Germany language. (use page translation) But it's easy to follow steps with photos. I changed few things to mine with closures by remove metal clasps and replaced with circle closures. The reason I like it that I can store ticket or small information inside the page and close it so that I can look at them again in the future. It's cool.
I used 3 pocket envelopes and 3 letter-sized cardstocks to create this. You can do in any size and any number of envelope and cardstock.
Here's my photos of my album. It's empty. I will add stuffs to it soon and will post it on my blog when I am done. The size of it is about 6" by 9".
Hope you enjoy.

Felix and His Space Jump
My friend met Felix Baumgartner and I was curious. I read and am proud of what he did. He did a space jump! What a brave man!
I did a couple of page in orange one about Felix Baumgartner. I found part of magazine online few weeks ago, printed it. I cut a slit (outline of guy with arrow) so that I can "merge" photos with it without "block".
Then added a couple of Smash things: sticky note and washi.

221B Baker St Album
I found this interesting clipboard album. I bought it. When I got home and took a look at this album. I didn't realized that the pattern on it is similar to the wallpaper at Sherlock's home. I decided to give it a grey colored wash. Lastly, I painted silver on 221B and two flourishes. I give a bit of black dry wash on them. Honestly, I thought that when I found this, I believe I got a chance to meet actor Benedict Cumberbatch who played as Sherlock on BBC. I got sad when I didn't get a message for a ticket. I always want to go to convention but am disappointed when they are so far away from my home. Sigh. Soo... Hope someday, I can finally got a chance and I only need someone who believes in me.

First Time...
I tried my K9 process in Smash. I think it looks better than scrapbook page which I haven't done for 2 yrs (Lucky, I haven't glue any on page.) I like it.
This is my first smash page in black one.
