Small Tribute to Blue Thunder

This is the one I just worked on...  Few days ago, I somehow remember the old movie. I was sad. I even miss the actor who passed away few years ago. Then it hit me, I can smash about it! I looked around for the photos I need for my page. When I lay them all on page and felt that I am missing something. On the next day, I solved the missing part feeling. I drew helicopter as blueprint (FACT: Yes, I drew Blue Thunder many times when I was young) and add some words to it. I like it. That made it better. Yes. I love helicopter and this is one of my faves. I used the waterfall flip for 4 mini photos of helicopter (I used that waterfall flip on my scrapbook layout before). It was hard to find good sized photo of Roy with Blue Thunder. I found some photos of the helicopter and printed them. It made me smile instead of sad.

Mermaid Anya

I saw this cute used stamp up for sale. I bought it. I love mermaid and this unmounted rubber stamp I have in my hand is Mermaid Anya from The Greeting Farm. Yes, this is my first GF stamp. I finally got a chance to stamp her and color her. I saved her until other idea came. I put it on piece of paper to fancy her up. I added pinwheel and yarns and also some half domed pearls.

Pinwheel is actual from Fiskar's paper punch called Jenni Bowlin: Pinwheel and Talk Bubble is also from Fiskar's paper punch.

Doctor in Distress Record

Still having issue with the record I have that was in the lot I won on ebay last year. I am deaf and don't know what to do with it. Honestly, I didn't know it was a record until I got it in mail! Frame it? Maybe. Put the record on wall? Nah. The record didn't have design on it, just words. Anyway, I just thought, is there lyric online for it? Yep, I found it.

Mini Album: 3 Ways

I found a cute mini album on pinterest. However, her only "template" didn't help much. So I decided to  make my own template and hope that it helps for someone. I made 3 different ideas as seen in my photos.

Bottom row shows 3 different looks of pockets inside the mini album in which I provided the templates.

I add some pages to attach it with twine. You can do that or sew or use rings. Any way you want/like. This is only an idea I have for myself. I stamped and added pieces of paper in pockets.

Printable: Walt and Mickey Partners

I love Mickey Mouse. I went to Walt Disney World for the first time in 1979. However I was very ill during my trip that sent me to hospital. It was terrible. One of photos my mom took was the place where statue supposed to be. Looks like it wasn't set until later on. On June 19, 1995 the "Partners" statue was installed in the hub of the Magic Kingdom in honor for Walt and his famous character.

I made it because Disney is my favorite. This can be add to scrapbook, smash, etc. I made black silhouette and firework silhouette. 4 and 6 inches

My Homemade Fun Tier Stand

I took it apart so that can understand the steps of how I did it. I just bought 4 colorful trays from Dollar Tree, dowel from Walmart and piece of wooden board from my stepfather cuz it was left over at his shop. I cut holes in trays (careful or will crack it.) I use paper rolls but it is bit thick than regular paper roll (other way can use pvc tube). I just cut dowel to the size I like. Same thing cut the rolls to put between trays. Top it with washer and screw. Hope you like my idea :)
